Hot and dry conditions today will combined with increase southerly winds ahead of an approaching cold front. Expect sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph with humidities between 15 and 25 percent. Eastern portions of 423 along with zone 426 has seen little to no rainfall in the last two weeks keeping fuels critically dry.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 423 Owyhee Mountains and 426 Southern Highlands.
* TIMING...Until 9 PM MDT this evening.
* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...15 to 25 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...78 to 86 degrees.
